Eatrocks.com is my collection of blogs related to Java, Oracle, data backup, and life in general. By day I write applications mainly in Java and Oracle. By night I run an online backup service. I don’t have an artistic bone in my body but I’m slowly learning to take good photo’s.

Why eatrocks.com?  When gmail was fairly new I decided to sign up for an account.  After countless failed attempts at a meaningful email address I started entering in random insults.  Eventually, eatrocks was accepted.  The gmail spam filter was so amazing I ditched my other email accounts, and after using the same name on google talk it became my permanent alternate identity.  In time the odd name grew on me sufficiently, years later that is, so I decided to check for the matching domain name – after all, who’d want a domain name like that/this.  And here you are.
